One of the great features of Serenity sheer shades is the ability to choose between 2" and 3" slats. The size of the slats can affect both the appearance and functionality of the shades. For example, 2" slats may offer a more delicate and refined look, while 3" slats may give a bold and more dramatic appearance. The size of the slats can also impact the level of light and privacy that the shades provide. For example, smaller slats may allow more light to filter through when the shades are tilted open, while larger slats may provide greater coverage and privacy. Whether you prefer a more subtle or statement-making look, Serenity sheer shades have you covered with the choice of 2" or 3" slats.

Serenity Sheer Shades are similar to traditional slated blinds, in how you tilt the slats, however the slats are made of light fabric instead of a heavy rigid material like wood, metal or faux wood. Serenity Sheer Shades are similar to roller shades in the way that they roll up and virtually disappear when in the fully open and up position. Like sheer drapery, Serenity Sheer Shades can provide a full view of the outside through sheer fabric when in their down/open position, but with the added bonus of being able to tilte them closed and close out the view, provide privacy and allow you to control the light coming in through your shades.

The headrail for our sheer shades are approximately 3½" deep, so you will need at least 3½" for a flush mount. Any depth less than 3¼" will cause the headrail to protrude out from the inside of the window.

While sheer shade fabrics are quite delicate, you can still put them in the bathroom or kitchen, depending on where the window is located and what your daily use will be for the shades. Cleaning must be done with care so that you don't rip the material, which is the main difference between sheer shades and shades made of sturdier materials like wood, metal or wood composite.
